Maximus is seeking a skilled Paramedic to join their team as a Functional Assessor. In this role, you will use your clinical expertise to conduct thorough assessments of patients' functional abilities and provide detailed reports to support benefit determinations.

The salary for this position is around £37,800 per annum, reflecting the demands of the job and the level of responsibility involved. Your primary duties will involve conducting assessments via phone, video, or face-to-face meetings to understand how patients' disabilities or health conditions impact their daily lives. You will then produce Personal Independent Payment (PIP) reports to inform benefit decisions by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).

To succeed in this role, you will need a valid HCPC registration number and at least one year of post-registration experience in a relevant field. You must also be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and be comfortable using computer software to type and produce detailed reports.
