About the Role:

Elevation Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Senior Health and Safety Manager to join our client in Selby, Yorkshire. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing health and safety strategies, policies, and procedures across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and review all H&S strategies, policies, and procedures.
  2. Contribute to the production and roll out of training materials, documents, and manuals.
  3. Design and deliver H&S training courses.
  4. Assist in the development and facilitation of training/toolbox talks.
  5. Participate in internal audits and conduct site inspections.
  6. Take part in regular workplace inspections/GEMBA walks with site Plant Managers.
  7. Provide written reports on inspections, visible management leadership, and monthly summaries.
  8. Lead incident investigations (including root cause analysis).

Requirements:

  1. NEBOSH Diploma.
  2. Good understanding of PUWER/LOTOTO, Working at Height, Confined Spaces.
  3. Accident Investigation Training with good report writing techniques.
  4. Understanding of Accident prevention techniques (including root cause analysis).
  5. High attention to detail.
  6. Able to work independently.

This field-based position covers 3 sites, including 2 in Hull and one in the North East. A company car will be provided for frequent travel across the region. The successful candidate will have a hands-on approach and be confident in delivering cultural improvements. We offer a competitive package of £50-55k per annum, plus a company car, bonus, share scheme, and 25 days' holiday (with the ability to purchase additional days). [£52,000 estimated salary].
