We're seeking a talented Human Resources Business Partner to join our team and support our Site Operations goals. As a key member of our HR department, you'll play a crucial role in identifying opportunities to increase organizational effectiveness and productivity.

In this exciting role, you'll work closely with our Site Director/Manager Human Resources to develop and implement strategies that drive business success. You'll be responsible for a range of critical tasks, including recruitment, employment law compliance, benefits administration, training, performance management, on-boarding, and policy implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support employee engagement and community events
  • Investigate employee concerns and compliance issues
  • Develop department goals, objectives, and systems
  • Manage the recruitment process, from advertising to on-boarding
  • Coordinate benefits communications and elections
  • Maintain compliance with local employment laws
  • Support occupational health issues and workers' compensation claims
  • Enter updates into HR systems and maintain employment records
  • Conduct research and special projects, preparing reports and summaries as needed

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you'll need a Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of full-time human resources experience, including strong employee relations skills. You should have knowledge of California labor laws and leave requirements, as well as experience with Excel. A US citizen is required for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

We welcome applications from candidates with SHRM certification, HR process knowledge, and experience working in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to work effectively autonomously with the support of the site HR leadership team.
