The role of an Electronics Systems Engineer at SEA involves taking responsibility for the electrical and electronic design and development of our products using state-of-the-art methods, technology, and tools. You will work on various projects, exploring all aspects of the development lifecycle, from engineering analysis and requirements analysis to design, implementation, test, build, and product support.

This position requires a degree within Electronics or a relevant discipline, experience in designing and manufacturing Electrical/Electronics Systems, and excellent communication and collaboration skills. You must be able to follow a methodical/systematic approach to analyze and solve problems, identifying key facts and breaking down complex information into components parts. A demonstrable ability to plan and execute technical assignments is also essential.

As an Electronics Systems Engineer, you will have opportunities to work on a variety of electro-mechanical systems supplied by SEA, working to agreed cost, time, and quality. You will seek and share good practice and knowledge locally to continuously improve your own practices. You will also support and facilitate reviews and approvals of electrical & electronic designs in accordance with business and industry standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree within Electronics or other relevant discipline
  • Experience in the design and manufacture of Electrical/Electronics Systems.
  • Ability to follow a methodical/systematic approach to analyze and solve problems
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Able to produce clear and concise technical documentation
  • Demonstrable ability to plan and execute technical assignment
