We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor Lead to join our team at Thorn Baker Construction in Manchester.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and organized individual who is looking to take on a leadership role in construction project management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial and administrative aspects of construction projects, including estimating, costing, and valuations.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in quantity surveying or a related field, with a strong understanding of construction processes and procedures. You will also have excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

The salary for this role is estimated to be between £75,000 to £80,000 per annum, plus a car allowance, making it an attractive opportunity for those looking to advance their careers in construction project management.

Key skills required for this role include:

  • Minimum of HND/HNC in Quantity Surveying/Construction Management
  • At least 5 years' relevant experience within the last 10 years, must include High Rise project experience
  • Fully conversant with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience with using COINS is desired
  • Full UK driving license required as this role is both site- and office-based
