Trainer and Educator for Medical Equipment

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Trainer and Educator for Medical Equipment to join our team. As a key member of our clinical skills training program, you will be responsible for delivering expert training on medical devices to healthcare professionals. With a focus on identifying training needs, delivering effective training programs, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, this role offers a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of patients and healthcare professionals.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will have a strong background in clinical processes and conditions, as well as experience working with a range of medical devices. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling them to effectively engage with healthcare professionals and communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Training Delivery: Deliver or facilitate medical device training to ensure that staff have the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively use designated medical devices.
- Support and Advice: Provide support and advice to the medical device risk assessment process, including identifying potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.
- Strategy Development: Assist in developing strategies for training, including identifying training needs, developing training programs, and evaluating training effectiveness.
- Refresher Training: Determine appropriate arrangements for refresher training and ensure that staff receive regular updates on new medical devices and technologies.
Requirements:
The successful Trainer and Educator for Medical Equipment will have a strong educational background, preferably in a related field such as nursing or biomedical engineering. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling them to effectively engage with healthcare professionals and communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
