**School Mental Health Specialist**

WhereToTalk is looking for a skilled School Mental Health Specialist to provide mental health support to students in a secondary school setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Counselling and experience working with young people.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivering individual and group counselling sessions to students
  • Collaborating with teachers and other staff members to provide comprehensive support
  • Developing and implementing strategies to promote positive mental health and wellbeing

Requirements:

  • A recognised qualification in Counselling, such as a BACP accredited Diploma (level 4) or post-graduate diploma/certificate or Masters level
  • The ability to work effectively with students, staff and parents

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £42,500 - £47,500 per annum
  • Term time only, 2 days per week (Tuesday and Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm)
