We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Home Care Assistant to join our award-winning team at The Great Care Company in York. As a mentor and supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care services to our clients across York, Easingwold, and Thirsk.
About the Role- Deliver exceptional personal, social, and domestic care services to meet the needs of our clients.
- Mentor and supervise Home Care Assistants to ensure they adhere to our high standards.
- Work closely with the office team to maintain and improve our care standards.
- National Vocation Qualification Level 3 (NVQ 3) or Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a domiciliary care environment, preferably 2 years.
- A full driving license with access to your own vehicle.
- A guaranteed 30-hour contract with opportunities for additional hours.
- An excellent basic pay scheme with potential for increases as you gain qualifications.
- Extra pay on bank holidays, earning time and a half for all hours worked.
- A regular pay increase structure.
- A £100 cash reward for referring a client to The Great Care Company.
- A £500 cash reward for referring a friend to become a carer.
- A workplace pension scheme to invest in your future.
- Six weeks of annual leave per annum, recognizing the importance of rest and relaxation.
