Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Podiatrist to join our dynamic team at NELFT NHS Foundation Trust. As a Podiatrist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality foot health care to patients in our community clinics and domiciliary settings.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assess, diagnose, plan, and implement evidence-based care for patients with a wide range of general clinical needs.
  • Work within codes of practice and professional guidelines to ensure high-quality treatment.
  • Support peers and team leaders, and be an effective team member while working independently.
  • Participate in clinical rotations in specialist areas, such as nail surgery, biomechanics, and diabetes care.
  • Provide foot health education and advice to patients, relatives, and carers, and participate in training events as needed.
  • Manage a caseload within allocated time, including domiciliary patients.
Requirements
  • BSc Diploma/Degree in Podiatric Medicine (or equivalent).
  • Registration with the Health Care and Professionals Council (HCPC).
  • Evidence of continual professional development.
  • Able to travel efficiently throughout the area and have a valid UK driving license.
