We are seeking a skilled and motivated Podiatry Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team at NELFT NHS Foundation Trust.
Job Overview
The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced Podiatrists to provide high-quality care to patients with foot conditions. The role will involve assisting with nail surgery, high-risk ulcer clinics, and manufacturing insoles.
Key Responsibilities
The Podiatry Assistant will be responsible for:
- Providing delegated foot care and encouraging patient self-management
- Assisting Podiatrists in clinical settings, including nail surgery and high-risk clinics
- Managing and prioritizing their own workload
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Royal College of Podiatry (RCPod) Assistant Practitioner qualification
- Excellent organizational and clinical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic awareness of IT and IT skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
