About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and respected Head Office in Darlington town centre as a Sales Ledger Clerk.

Key Responsibilities

  • Update and maintain the billing system to ensure accurate and timely payments.
  • Collect income through the raising of invoices and manage the recovery of debts in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Ensure payments from providers are made within specified timeframes to maintain a smooth cash flow.
  • Maintain the posting and allocation of cash received to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Address queries efficiently and diarise all communications to ensure effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Reconcile income and cash on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Communicate effectively with other departments as required to ensure seamless collaboration.

Requirements

  • Customer services, administrative, or finance administration experience is essential for this role.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Good organisational skills to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Good attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial transactions.
  • Good communication skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
