Dedicated Education Support Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our outstanding school in the heart of Sutton. As a key member of our education team, you will play a vital role in creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment for our students.
Key Responsibilities:- Support teachers in planning and delivering high-quality lessons, ensuring that students continue their learning in a safe and structured environment.
- Assist with classroom management and student behaviour, promoting positive relationships and fostering a sense of community within the school.
- Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional help, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.
- Prepare materials and resources for lessons, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the educational process.
- Assess and record student progress, providing valuable insights into their strengths and areas for improvement.
- Supervise students during break times and outings, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding student progress, keeping them informed of their child's achievements and any areas requiring attention.
- A Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent.
- An enhanced DBS check, demonstrating your commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Previous experience working in a classroom setting, ideally in a similar role.
