Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Administrator to join our Finance team within the Payroll department. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for processing the weekly payroll, providing valuable management information, and completing submissions to authorities and other bodies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process payroll, including starter and leaver processing, changes to employment details, and statutory sick pay and occupational sick pay.
  • Check, format, and upload timesheets, as well as payroll calculation exception checking.
  • Create and submit FPS files, Bacs files, and costing files.
  • Complete weekly reports and resolve employee queries.
  • Process third-party payments and perform other duties commensurate with the level of salary.
Requirements
  • GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English.
  • Previous experience working within an office environment.
  • Previous experience liaising with customers in both written and verbal formats.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook packages.
  • Able to demonstrate a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Part or fully AAT qualified.
  • Previous experience working within a Payroll department.
  • Experience using ResourceLink Payroll system.
  • Previous experience working to strict deadlines.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel to an advanced level.
