ENGINEERINGUK is seeking a highly skilled Building Surveyor to join its team in the North East and North West of England. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, including Technical Due Diligence and Forensic Surveying commissions.

Salary and Benefits

Job DescriptionMain Responsibilities:
  • Develop detailed briefs in collaboration with clients and senior colleagues.
  • Conduct site surveys, including measured surveys, condition surveys, and defect analysis.
  • Undertake design and specification work, assisting with tender information preparation.
  • Administer building contracts.
  • Pursue all aspects of professional surveying work, including Condition Surveys, Specific Defect Analysis, PW work, dilapidations, Access Audits & FRA's.
  • Liaise with Clients, Contractors, and other consultants.
Requirements:
  • BSc in Building Surveying or equivalent qualification.
  • Advanced stage for the APC Final Assessment with RICS or CIOB, or recent qualification.
  • Able to establish good working relationships with Clients and colleagues.
  • Self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and/or REVIT skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Holding a Full UK Driving Licence.
