About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Hywel Dda University Health Board. As a key member of our Acute Adult Mental Health Ward, you will play a vital role in assessing, planning, and delivering excellent care to individuals with Mental Health needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and plan individualized care for patients with Mental Health needs
  • Deliver high-quality care and interventions to support patients' physical, psychological, and social needs
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Lead in the assessment process and develop skilled interventions to meet patient needs

Requirements

  • RMN / RNMH qualification
  • Sound knowledge of clinical issues within the area of practice
  • Experience of working with people who have long-term Mental Health needs and challenging behavior
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals

Desirable Qualifications and Skills

  • Student Nurse Practice supervisor
  • Understanding and knowledge of local area and facilities
  • Welsh language skills (Level 1)
