Job Title: Finance Business Partner Contract Full Time

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Finance Business Partner to join our busy team, with specific responsibility for contract monitoring, patient care income accounting, and performance reporting.

Main Duties:
  • Support the Head of Financial Management - Income in delivering all financial aspects of NHS contract income within the Trust, including contract monitoring, performance reporting, and negotiations with commissioners.
  • Assist in the development and commissioning of new services within our Clinical Management Groups (CMGs).
  • Lead on producing and reporting the Trust-wide income financial position each month.
  • Support the development and maintenance of systems and processes to support financial performance management of the directorates.
Person Specification:
  • Post Graduate Diploma level or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience of financial management within a large organisation, including Microsoft Office and financial systems.
  • Ability to work under pressure, to prioritise and work to tight deadlines.

This is a rare opportunity to work in a large Acute Trust's Finance & Commissioning function, bringing varied and rewarding challenges on a daily basis. The successful post holder will have direct line management responsibilities, including agreeing personal development plans, coherent objectives, and regular appraisals and training.

The post holder will support the Head of Financial Management - Income in delivering meaningful performance analysis within both the Finance & Procurement Directorate and Trust Executive review, including triangulation of financial and non-financial information to ensure a clear understanding of the drivers of the directorate income financial performance.
