We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Management Accountant to join our team at Pemberton Park & Leisure Homes Limited as a key member of the Company Management Team, reporting directly to the Managing Director.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and develop the Finance team, ensuring effective management and coordination of financial activities.
• Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly Management Accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, and account reconciliations.
• Develop and manage budgets and cash flow forecasts, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Implement and maintain effective financial systems, including Homes BOM Costings and Stock valuation & control, purchase ledger, and sales ledger management.
• Manage the credit control function, ensuring timely and accurate submissions to HMRC for PAYE, VAT, and Pensions.
• Identify and implement process improvements, driving efficiency and effectiveness within the Finance team.
• Contribute to the Management Team, providing strategic financial guidance and support on company-wide challenges and issues.
Person Specification:
• A strategic thinker with the ability to contribute at a senior level, driving business growth and improvement.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to drive change and process improvements within the Finance team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface with senior management and provide guidance and mentoring to staff.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
• Proven project management experience, with a track record of delivering successful projects.
Key Skills Required:
• Strong accounting and financial management skills, with a thorough understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and make informed decisions.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, with the ability to create complex financial models and reports.
• 10+ years of combined accounting and financial management experience in a commercial environment.
