Job Title: Management Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our finance team in Wigan. As a key member of our team, you will assist the Head of Management Accounts and help train the Assistant Management Accountants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare monthly management accounts to a strict deadline
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Produce and post journals
  • Maintain the Fixed Asset Register
  • Variance reporting
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting
  • Prepare quarterly VAT returns
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years experience in a multimillion-pound turnover business
  • ACA, CIMA, or ACCA qualified or part qualified
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Able to maintain confidentiality
