Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced professional to lead our efforts in transitioning countries to green, low-carbon, resilient, and nature-positive economies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the Bank's strategy for green economy transition in its countries of operations, setting objectives, funding strategies, and staffing plans.
  • Work closely with Banking sector and regional teams to deliver the Bank's ambitious green investment goals, identifying and maximising green finance, and mitigating climate risk.
  • Drive cross-sectoral collaboration in areas such as water infrastructure, agribusiness, public-private partnerships, circular economy, and smart cities.

The ideal candidate will have relevant academic background, strong strategic analysis and formulation skills, experience in leading policy reform dialogue, familiarity with global climate and green policy trends, and ability to integrate private sector financing skills with global public Sustainable Development Goals.
