Job Opportunity: Community Staff Nurse - Adult Nursing Services

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is seeking an experienced registered nurse to join our team as a community band 5 staff nurse on a fixed-term contract for 1 year.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled nurse to work in a dynamic environment as part of the wider HSCP. As a community staff nurse, you will work within the Primary Health Care team and under the direction and supervision of the District Nurse to assess and deliver an agreed plan of care to individuals within a community setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and deliver an agreed plan of care to individuals within a community setting
  • Work autonomously within a dynamic environment as part of the wider HSCP
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans that meet the needs of individuals and communities
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A first-level adult nursing degree
  • Significant nursing experience and demonstrable leadership and communication skills
  • Evidence of continuing development and a passion for a career in community services
  • A clean current driving license
