Community Health Nurse

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is seeking an experienced registered nurse to join our team as a community band 5 staff nurse within our out of hours service. This exciting opportunity requires a nurse who already holds a first-level adult nursing qualification and is passionate about a career in community services.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality nursing care to individuals within a community setting

- Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Contribute to the development of the Primary Health Care team and the wider organization
- Significant nursing experience
- Demonstrable leadership and communication skills
- Evidence of continuing development
- A current driving license

As a community staff nurse, you will work under the direction and supervision of the District Nurse, who will assess and deliver an agreed plan of care to individuals within a community setting. This role requires a nurse who is passionate about community services and is motivated to work in a dynamic environment.
Please note that the salary is Pro Rata for part-time hours. The shift pattern for this post is 3 evenings over 7, including weekends and public holidays. However, core hours can be discussed with the possibility of a slightly later start time of 17:30 hrs.
NHS Scotland is reducing its full-time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024, with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part-time staff. This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment reflect the new working hours.
