Business Development Manager - Solar Energy

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in Bromsgrove. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expanding our customer base in the solar energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyse clients' energy consumption patterns and determine the feasibility of solar installation
  • Negotiate contracts, address client concerns, and close sales to hit targets
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory developments
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and project details on our CRM system
  • Deliver your own business plan/sales strategy
Requirements:
  • Experience within the solar energy industry, with a focus on sales and/or technical sales, installation, or project management
  • Confidence in imparting knowledge of the solar industry to others within the team
  • Experience in managing your own diary/territory
  • Proven track record in selling solar equipment or selling into the solar industry
  • Interest in clean and renewable energy
