Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Kier Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the technical compliance of the project, ensuring that it meets the required standards and specifications.

About the Role:

  • Responsible for setting out works constructed within allowable tolerances
  • Regularly checks the setting out points and benchmarks and ensures that all setting out instruments and measuring equipment are delivered to site with a calibration certificate and recorded accordingly
  • Ensures workforce understands setting out information has been identified as suitable for the type of work being carried out
  • Manages the preparation of sketches for distribution on site, ensuring clear communication channels are in place for effective understanding
  • Responsible for providing and maintaining setting out and dimensional control, to ensure accurate construction of the work

Requirements:

  • Civil engineering, Commercial and Contractual awareness
  • Related HNC/Degree or equivalent
  • Experience in a similar role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and experience in a similar role. They will also possess excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
