Fire Safety and Security Engineer Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled Fire Safety and Security Engineer to join our team at Hinkley Point C. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and secure operation of the facility through the design, implementation, and maintenance of security systems.

About the Project:
Hinkley Point C is a significant milestone in the UK's nuclear power industry, contributing to the country's move towards reducing carbon emissions. As part of this project, you will work with a team to ensure the safe and secure operation of the facility.

Your Responsibilities:
  1. Plan and prepare security risk assessments to support MEH Alliance installation teams.
  2. Provide weekly reports on security risk assessments.
  3. Design, program, install, and maintain CCTV, access control, and security systems.
  4. Manage maintenance and service of CCTV and access systems.
  5. Participate and support fire audits.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in security risk assessment (both temporary and permanent).
  • Proven experience in service/maintenance and installation of CCTV and security installations.
  • Understanding of digital network integration.
  • Able to use CAD/3D models and understand layout.
  • SMSTS site safety training/CCNSG safety passport.

Benefits:
