Job Title: Part Time Branch Advisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Part Time Branch Advisor. As a key member of our Savings Operations team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the smooth operation of our branches.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide outstanding customer service over the counter, over the telephone, and through processing and administering customer queries.
  • Action customer administration activities efficiently and effectively, with great attention to detail, to complete tasks to a high-quality standard.
  • Support the existing team by taking ownership of your development, bringing a positive can-do attitude, and supporting other branches as needed.
  • Deliver an outstanding and positive customer experience by being polite, helpful, professional, and demonstrating our society values in all face-to-face interactions.
  • Support the smooth operation of the branches by following all branch protocols, keeping all keys secure, maintaining a cash float, banking cash, and reconciling the tills daily.
  • Ensure all information provided on Society products meets the needs and requirements of the customer and is clear, fair, and not misleading.
  • Work as part of the team to achieve individual and branch objectives, demonstrating savings standards in all interactions and activities.
  • Build enduring relationships and work collaboratively with the wider Society departmental functions to better support customer journeys.
Requirements:
  • 1 year experience within a customer service role.
  • A passion for customer service.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Organisation skills.
  • Full clean driving license.
  • Team player.
  • Positive can-do attitude.
  • Flexible.

Compliance:
  • Comply with all Anti Money Laundering (AML) and Terrorist Financing regulatory requirements.
  • Carry out prescribed customer due diligence measures (CDD) for all customers.
  • Understand the law and personal obligations and responsibilities under it.
  • Complete training as required to attain and maintain knowledge and continuing competence in AML systems, controls, and procedures.
  • Report knowledge or suspicion of any money laundering or terrorist financing activity promptly.
