Net Zero External Funding Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Net Zero External Funding Coordinator to join our team at Hays Business Support. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of our net-zero strategy and identifying and securing external funding streams to drive innovation and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and apply for various net-zero funding streams, working closely with the Innovation & Funding Manager to ensure alignment with organisational needs and funding availability.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including Net Zero, Legal, and Procurement teams, to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Manage timely and successful applications for multi-million-pound projects, leveraging your expertise in regulatory funding mechanisms and government schemes.
  • Collaborate with the Innovation & Funding Manager to develop project scope in line with funding guidelines, ensuring maximum impact and return on investment.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of managing successful funding applications, ideally in an energy-related background.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory funding mechanisms and government schemes, with experience in applying for external funding streams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results and meeting deadlines.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • CPD accredited Bid Writing qualification.
  • Business Management qualification.
  • Full clean UK driving licence.
