Job Description

Vantage Data Centers is seeking a seasoned Director of Development Delivery to lead our project management team and drive the development of our data center projects. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire construction process, from entitlement and permitting to project closeout.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage the overall construction program to ensure standardization, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Define and implement key business engagement processes to enable quick decision-making.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive QA/QC programs to prevent problems and identify risks early in the project life cycle.
  • Lead and manage project teams, including pre-construction, design, permitting, entitlements, competitive bidding, team selection, construction, commissioning, and project closeout.
  • Hold project teams accountable for creating and managing project budgets, establishing monthly forecasts, and driving coordination and integration of internal stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field.
  • 7-10 years of experience in a management role, preferably in data center construction management.
  • Experience in CSA and MEP construction management is a requirement.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools like MS Project or P6.
  • Travel is expected and may increase over time as the business evolves.
