Hempstead May: A Hub for Innovation

We are Hempstead May, a creative post-production hub that embodies innovation and inclusivity. With a rich history spanning over 15 years, we have established ourselves as a leading force in the high-end fashion and luxury sectors.

Our team is comprised of talented individuals who share a passion for storytelling and artistic expression. We are seeking a highly skilled Social Media Coordinator to join our team and contribute to the growth of our online presence.

About the Role

The Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with our brand identity. This will involve creating engaging content, managing our online presence across various platforms, and collaborating with our team to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Social Media Management: Develop and schedule posts that showcase our expertise in post-production, drum scanning, and fine art printing.
  2. Email Marketing: Create and manage email campaigns to keep clients and industry contacts informed about our recent projects, services, and news.
  3. Website and Digital Coordination: Regularly update our website with new job listings, service offerings, and case studies to ensure consistency and accuracy of digital content across all platforms.
Requirements
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and manage projects effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a creative flair for developing engaging content.
  • Proven experience in social media management and content strategies across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
  • Solid understanding of email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp) and website management tools.
  • Knowledge of photography and content creation, with the ability to produce high-quality visuals for digital platforms.
  • Competency with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate effectively with the broader team.
  • A passion for the creative industries, particularly in photography, fashion, and art.
About Us

We are a holistic, collaborative space that forms a growing moving image department. Our team also includes a drum-scanning and fine art printing department, alongside our sister company, Have a Butchers, a gallery and concept store.

We value new ideas and welcome initiatives that strengthen our digital presence and grow our audience. If you're passionate about digital marketing and social media and eager to work in a creative, collaborative space, we'd love to hear from you.
