We are seeking an experienced Biomedical Scientist to join our team at Bank Partners, working in the Biochemistry department at the RLH site.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Band 7 Senior Biomedical Scientist to lead our diagnostic services, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our laboratory services.

The estimated salary for this position is £45,500 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description:

This role involves performing a wide range of complex and specialized diagnostic tests, ensuring accuracy and reliability of test results through meticulous attention to detail and adherence to quality control measures.

You will also be responsible for supervising and supporting junior staff, providing training and guidance to ensure high standards of practice, and participating in the development and implementation of new techniques and methodologies to enhance laboratory services.

Requirements:
  • MSc in Biomedical Science: A Master's degree in Biomedical Science or a related field is required.
  • Registration with HCPC: Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) is mandatory.
  • Senior Experience: Previous senior experience within an NHS hospital is essential.
  • C800 and Middleware Expertise: 4-5 years of experience using the c800 and middleware CITM system is required.
