Ampath Laboratories seeks a skilled Diagnostic Pathologist to provide expert diagnostic anatomical pathology services. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to work in a fast-paced environment. They will be responsible for interpreting histopathology results, providing consultation services to clinicians, and participating in the management of laboratory activities.
About the Role:
This full-time position requires a highly motivated individual with expertise in anatomical pathology. The ideal candidate will hold a Fellowship of College of Pathologists (South Africa) and registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA). A Master's degree in Pathology or related field would be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide diagnostic anatomical pathology services to referring clinicians.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of laboratory policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of laboratory results and reports.
- Participate in quality assurance programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clinical staff to promote effective communication and collaboration.
Salary Range: R1 200 000 - R1 800 000 per annum.
