We're seeking an experienced Finance Services Assistant to join our Finance department at Northern Powergrid. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service, processing cash receipts, and managing financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process daily cash receipts and manage financial transactions
  • Provide excellent customer service both internally and externally
  • Process credit/debit card payments and customer refund requests
  • Complete banking schedules and reconcile financial data

As a Finance Services Assistant, you'll have the opportunity to work with a range of financial systems, including Oracle-based finance systems. You'll also have the chance to develop your skills in financial receipting, reconciliation, and customer service.

We're looking for someone with a good level of IT skills, particularly in Excel, Outlook, and other MS Office applications. You'll also need to have excellent customer service skills, planning and organization skills, and a minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Math at grade C or 4 or above.
