Care and Support Worker

About the Role
This Support Worker position involves providing care and support to clients in their homes, promoting independence and well-being. You will work closely with families, healthcare professionals, and occupational therapists to develop personalized care plans that cater to each client's needs.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and a passion for supporting others. A valid full driving license and reliable transportation are essential requirements for this role.
Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this role is £12.36 per hour, with opportunities for overtime and time-and-a-half enhancements on bank holidays. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a range of benefits, including mileage allowance, annual leave, pension scheme, and access to an employee discount scheme.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must have a FULL DRIVING LICENCE that's valid to drive in the UK, current right to work in the UK, and an understanding of reablement and care provision. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, as well as basic IT skills and great time management.
An understanding of the importance of safeguarding and ability to complete relevant DBS checks are also required. Previous care experience is desirable but not necessary; what matters most is your passion for supporting others and making a difference in their lives.
