Job Title: Working Foreperson

Join a specialist joinery and interior fit-out company that provides bespoke services to the retail, commercial, hospitality, and residential sectors throughout the UK and Ireland.

About the Role

As a Working Foreperson, you will be based on several specialist fit-out schemes throughout Northern Ireland, overseeing a full package of joinery and other dry trades. You will be responsible for managing all programme and labour on site and acting as a direct point of contact between workers on the ground and the contracts manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee joinery and dry trades on site
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Act as a liaison between site workers and the contracts manager
  • Develop and implement effective project plans and schedules
  • Monitor and control costs, resources, and labour
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Proven experience working as a Working Foreperson on fast-paced fit-out projects, particularly within Leisure & Commercial sectors
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate site teams to meet project completion deadlines
  • Health & Safety focus with first-class planning and organisational skills
  • Strong communication skills to deliver concise progress reports to the senior operational team and client
  • Valid CSR (Site Supervisor), CSCS or SMSTS certification
