Cybersecurity and Network Specialist

- Provide technical support for all school IT equipment, including computers, software, and peripherals.
- Collaborate with service providers to deploy hardware and software required by the school.
- Daily monitoring of the network, servers, backup processes, anti-virus protection, and firewalls to ensure network availability.
In addition to these responsibilities, you will be expected to:
- Monitor the IT helpdesk and respond accordingly.
- Update and maintain documentation, such as logs and audits, as part of administrative procedures.
- Prepare and install resources, and provide support for teaching and learning, and school events.
- Maintain, develop, and update the school website, intranet, and managed learning environment.
- Perform general maintenance or repairs, and arrange repairs to faulty computer equipment and peripherals.
- Train teachers and support staff in the use of hardware or relevant software.
- Undertake other duties as required by the Head teacher, commensurate with the grading of the post.
