Timber and Building Materials Sales Executive

We are seeking an experienced Sales and Business Development Manager - Construction to join our team at GCS Associates. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in timber sales, with experience in selling hardwood products and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful company and contribute to the growth and development of the business. As a Construction Sales Professional, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, identifying new business opportunities, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to drive sales performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a portfolio of existing customers across the construction sector
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to convert them into sales
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve sales targets and business objectives
- Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with clients
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and apply this knowledge to improve sales performance
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in timber sales, preferably in the construction sector
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work
- Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems
What We Offer
- Competitive salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience

Salary Details
- Salary: £52,500 per annum
