**Job Summary**

We are seeking a Relief Support Worker to join our team in Normanton, Wakefield. As a Relief Support Worker, you will provide extra care support to older adults, promoting healthy living and independence. You will work closely with service users to ensure they retain their independence for as long as possible.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide respectful personal care and emotional support to service users.
  • Work closely with service users to ensure they retain their independence for as long as possible.
  • Advise and support service users in all aspects of managing their tenancy and maintaining the safety, hygiene, and comfort of their home.
  • Support service users in accessing social and leisure activities.
  • Develop and sustain warm and trusting relationships with service users.
  • Collaborate with service users, families, carers, and involved professionals to ensure our Wakefield service is consistent, coordinated, and maximises outcomes for service users.

**Requirements**

Previous experience within a care role is an essential requirement for this position. Successful applicants must attend mandatory induction training courses to begin this role.

**What We Offer**

As a Creative Support Bank Staff member, you will have access to our free app, which allows you to pick up shifts in any area of the country and provides information on the service and shifts, including directions. You will be paid weekly.
