Job Title: Global People Operations Director

AVK-SEG Ltd is a leading supplier of innovative power solutions for data centres and the financial sector across the UK and Europe. We are seeking a highly skilled Global People Operations Director to lead our People Operations function, ensuring efficient management of people systems, data accuracy, benefits administration, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain compliance with local labour laws, data privacy regulations, and organisational policies
  • Provide oversight and manage processes related to setting up operations in new countries, including compliance, local labour laws, and benefits
  • Manage and iterate the playbook for international expansion, ensuring smooth and compliant entry into new markets and in existing ones
  • Oversee all people operations processes, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee data management, ensuring consistency and efficiency
  • Continuously reviews and improves people processes to enhance efficiency, compliance, and employee experience
  • Manage and maintains HR systems, tools, and technology; identifies opportunities for new solutions to meet organisational needs
  • Collaborates with legal, compliance, and external partners to manage risk in global expansions and ensure regulatory adherence
  • Acts as a primary point of contact for people-related operational matters across all locations, both domestic and international

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of people operations, including process management, HR systems, and compliance requirements
  • Experience in managing international expansions and understanding of global labour laws
  • Excellent project management and problem-solving skills to manage complex operations across multiple regions
  • Strong analytical skills to assess processes and systems and identify areas for improvement
  • Proficiency in HR technology and systems management
