We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Waiter/Waitress to join our team at The May Fair Kitchen. As a Senior Waiter/Waitress, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service and ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant.

About the Role:

  • Supervise and lead a team of Commis Waiters and Waiters to achieve high standards of service and quality.
  • Work closely with the Head Waiters, Bartenders, Floor Managers, and Restaurant General Manager to achieve success indicators and perform effectively in areas of responsibility.
  • Ensure the highest standards of customer service and satisfaction, maintaining a positive and welcoming atmosphere for guests.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to provide expert recommendations and ensure accurate orders.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service and efficient food delivery.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Senior Waiter/Waitress or Waiter/Waitress in a busy, quality-driven restaurant operation, preferably fine dining.
  • Excellent attention to detail, customer service skills, and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Impeccable command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, demonstrating a positive and professional attitude.
