About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the management of financial processes across multiple trading entities, ensuring accurate records and compliance with UK financial regulations.

  1. Financial Record Support: Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and overseeing transactions for multiple trading entities, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  2. Invoice Verification: Verify invoices against purchase orders and receipts, ensuring timely collections.
  3. Cash Flow Assistance: Assist in cash flow management by following up on overdue invoices and ensuring timely collections.
  4. Expense Review: Review and approve employee expenses and vendor invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies and budgets.
  5. Data Integrity: Assist in conducting thorough reviews of financial records, correcting discrepancies and ensuring data integrity.

The client is seeking a confident, experienced accounting professional with:

  1. Experience with Multiple Trading Entities: Proven ability to manage financial processes across diverse entities.
  2. Training in Financial Software: Advanced capability to run full accounts function in Xero.
  3. Relevant Experience: 2-4 years of bookkeeping or related financial roles.
  4. Knowledge of UK Financial Regulations: Understanding of relevant laws and guidelines.
