About this role

We are seeking an exceptional Maths tutor to join our team of experienced educators. As a Maths tutor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning to adult learners, with a focus on GCSE and Functional Skills Maths.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching Maths to adult learners, with experience in developing and delivering inclusive and innovative learning programmes. You will be able to motivate and support learners to achieve their goals, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning to adult learners, with a focus on GCSE and Functional Skills Maths
  • Develop and deliver inclusive and innovative learning programmes
  • Motivate and support learners to achieve their goals
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a high-quality learning experience
  • Contribute to the development of Maths curriculum and programme
Requirements
  • Recognised teaching qualification (Level 3 as a minimum)
  • Subject-specific qualification or equivalent industry experience
  • Level 2 English and Maths (or equivalent)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and support learners to achieve their goals
