This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced Property Development company around Bicester, that's expected to double in size in the next 3-5 years. The role is to the Finance Director and offers the chance to make a real difference to how the Finance function operates, and the continued growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Producing monthly Management Accounts, income statements, balance sheets, cash flow forecasts/statements etc.
  • Year-End Audits: Contributing to year-end audits and statutory accounts
  • Process Improvement: Identifying and implementing improvements to processes, controls and systems
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Preparing company budgets, partnering with all departments, analysing variances vs actual
  • Financial Insights: Providing insights and recommendations to the SLT to support decision making and planning
  • Strategic Planning: Supporting the CFO with the strategic plan for the business
  • Data Analysis: Analysing data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings
  • Tax Reporting: Tax reporting including VAT, R&D tax credits, CIS and payroll
  • Finance Management: Management of the finance function, including 3 staff members
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA, or by Experience
  • Experience: Experience operating in a similar Finance position
  • Skills: Excellent communication and organisation skills, Strong systems / Excel skills
