Senior Tax Manager

Job Summary:
Rutherford Briant is seeking a highly experienced Senior Tax Manager to join our US/UK Tax Team. As a Senior Tax Manager, you will work closely with the Partner to expand our client base and provide expert tax advice to high-net worth and ultra-high net worth individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Management: Work with a mix of high-net worth and ultra-high net worth clients, largely entrepreneurs, on a range of tax matters, including succession planning and restructuring projects, and preparing advisory reports.
- Team Management: Sign off on US and UK tax returns prepared by members of the team from Associate to Manager grades.
- Staff Assignments: Plan staff assignments to give an appropriate spread of experience to keep clients' confidence high.
- Collaboration: Work closely with lawyers, wealth advisers, and other professionals that support HNW individuals with US aspects to their lives.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Relevant Qualification (CTA or ATT) and Enrolled Agent Status.
- Experience: Strong experience working across US/UK Tax and either at Senior Manager grade, or clear ability to step straight into this level.
- Technical Skills: Experience signing off on UK personal returns and US tax forms, and a strong understanding of the technical complexities that dual residents face.
