About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Design Manager to join our team at Iron Mountain. As a Design Manager, you will be responsible for defining project scope, monitoring external consultants, and overseeing the design process for multi-phase data centre projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define project scope and objectives
  • Monitor and manage external consultants
  • Oversee the design process for data centre projects
  • Develop and implement design management processes and protocols
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure design work meets health and safety legislation and building standards
  • Establish and maintain effective communication between design teams and stakeholders
  • Manage design verification processes and ensure compliance with employer's requirements
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with design
  • Support the Lead Consultant in the development and implementation of design proposals
Requirements
  • Proven experience in data centre design and operations
  • Strong understanding of design management processes and protocols
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
