About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Youth Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at Monarch Education. As a key member of our staff, you will play a crucial role in supporting the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people in schools across Cheltenham.
Job Description:
This is a full-time position that requires a high level of enthusiasm and passion for supporting pupils with mental health challenges. The successful candidate will be involved in providing 1:1 support to pupils who have been impacted by adverse childhood experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting pupils within the classroom and running activities outside the classroom
- Working closely with teachers and other school staff to develop effective strategies for supporting pupils' mental health needs
- Providing guidance and support to pupils on how to manage their mental health and wellbeing
Requirements:
- A strong understanding of child development and mental health principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Salary and Benefits:
The estimated salary for this position is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including training opportunities and career progression.
