Capital Projects EHSQ Lead

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Capital Projects EHSQ Lead to join our team at Edinburgh Airport Limited. As a key member of our Capital Projects team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing plans to support our capital projects and programme.

Key Responsibilities

  • Scoping and development of project EHSQ systems and processes
  • Pre-Project Impact Risk Analysis on existing operations
  • Ensuring that identified risks have been adequately addressed by suppliers and EAL Project Managers
  • Developing and implementing plans to effectively monitor compliance through each stage of the project, including commissioning and final handover
  • Supporting the main EHSQ function on high-level projects

Requirements

  • Proven construction-related qualifications (NEBOSH Construction Certificate) and a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Good level of understanding of each phase of a construction project, including various engineering installations
  • Portfolio management experience with a wide range of diverse projects impacting on a variety of stakeholders at different levels
  • Previous experience of effective contractor/supplier management resulting in increased performance and reduced expenditure
  • Hold, or working towards being a member of The Association of Projects Safety (iMaps or CMaps membership level)
  • Understanding of ISO Standards (ISO9001 Quality, ISO14001 Environment, ISO45001 OH&S)
