Contract Supervisor Job Description

Seven Resourcing is seeking a highly skilled Contract Supervisor to join our team at Wakefield Council.

This is a full-time locum role offering a competitive hourly rate of £35.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support services within Highways and Engineering, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
  • Collaborate with the Site Supervision Team to allocate duties effectively, leading small teams when necessary.
  • Establish strong working relationships with officers from other Services and Departments to facilitate effective corporate working.
  • Ensure departmental services are delivered to the highest standard, adhering to the Council's Customer Care and Equal Opportunities policies.
  • Meet with the public and representatives of other Services and Departments as required, providing necessary information.
  • Contribute to maintaining good employee relations within Highways and Engineering.
Requirements:
  • Educated to a degree level or equivalent, with significant relevant experience.
  • Recent experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to support a team according to available resources and skill levels, working co-operatively with others.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Knowledge of licensing requirements.
  • Strong organisational skills.
