The Role: Waste Data and Operations Supervisor
As a Senior Waste Data and Weighbridge Supervisor, you will lead a team of Weighbridge Operators across multiple sites. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations, accurate data collection, and compliance with contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the delivery of full service commitments, including adherence to service plans, contract targets, client data requirements, and change protocols.
- Manage reporting processes and month-end procedures, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Verify the accuracy of data collected from off-takers and recorded within TIM (Weighbridge Data Recording application).
- Ensure all sites submit necessary paperwork compliant with company procedures, contractual specifications, and deadlines.
- Monitor performance against contractual performance frameworks and conduct site audits to ensure duty of care requirements are met.
- Maintain the smooth and accurate operation of weighbridges, ensuring compliance with contractual and legal requirements.
- Collaborate with central commercial functions by providing relevant information and insights.
- Step in as a hands-on weighbridge operator when needed to ensure adequate staffing during holidays or absences.
- Demonstrate high standards of performance for yourself and others, consistently delivering high-quality output in a fast-paced environment.
- Build and maintain strong, cohesive teams with high morale and exceptional performance.
- Possess excellent organizational skills, forward planning abilities, and a proactive management approach.
- Exhibit proficiency in Microsoft Excel and possess strong numeracy and literacy skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Demonstrate proven experience in people management.
- Hold a valid UK driving license.
