Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated English Language Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for providing high-quality learning opportunities that equip students to be literate, curious, confident, resilient, collaborative, innovative, and empathetic.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and deliver engaging and effective teaching and learning strategies that focus on knowing and engaging learners.
  2. Contribute to the development and sharing of quality teaching and learning strategies and programmes of learning.
  3. Attend relevant meetings and engage in professional learning opportunities to stay up-to-date with best practices.
  4. Participate positively in our Professional Learning Community, including the regular gathering of student voice and analysis of data to inform practice.
  5. Model and uphold the Professional Teaching Standards and Code of Conduct.
  6. Contribute to the co-curricular life of the school by participating in extracurricular activities and events.
  7. Have a thorough understanding of the NZ Curriculum, NCEA, and Scholarship.
  8. Value professional learning opportunities and be committed to continued development through ongoing reflection and growth.
