Teaching Personnel is Seeking a Dedicated English Teacher

We are looking for a passionate and experienced English teacher to join our team at a reputable school in Canterbury. As a Secondary School English Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, tracking student progress, and supporting their academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lesson Planning and Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver dynamic and creative English lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  2. Student Progress and Support: Assess, monitor, and record student progress, and provide support to help them achieve their full potential in GCSE English.
  3. Collaboration and Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other staff to create a positive learning environment and contribute to the school's extracurricular activities.
  4. Adaptability and Flexibility: Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students and attend parent evenings to discuss student progress.
Requirements:
  1. Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE in Secondary English.
  2. Experience: Experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4 levels.
  3. Skills: Strong classroom management skills, excellent communication and organizational abilities, and a genuine passion for teaching and student success.
