We are seeking an experienced Senior Scientist to join our US Programs Biology team and contribute to the advancement of our therapeutic pipeline. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing hit-to-lead and lead optimization strategies for core drug development programs.

The Company

Serna Bio is a pioneering company at the forefront of RNA targeting, developing innovative small molecules that modulate translation and splicing by targeting RNA. Our innovative platform combines synthetic biology, machine learning, and massively multiplex screening to tackle historically challenging targets.

You will collaborate with our platform team to ensure seamless integration and support from the Serna Bio ChemAI Platform and leverage your expertise in experiment design, CRO management, and assay development to select targets, develop drugs, and advance them into early clinical work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute hit-to-lead and lead optimization strategies for core drug development programs
  • Collaborate with the platform team to ensure seamless integration and support from the Serna Bio ChemAI Platform
  • Design and implement assay strategies, statistical designs, and data analysis processes for hit to lead and lead optimization
Compensation Package

The estimated annual salary for this position is $195,000.
